Topic: If I see one more headline ... | |
---|---|
So, as I look through this, one question pops to mind. Is there anything someone can say about themselves the presents them in a positive light? I mean, I know my tagline and profile sucks unripe lemons, but I'm starting to get the impression I should have left everything blank but my picture(which by a strange coincidence also helps drive the women away). Why have headlines that represent why you are on a dating site? I like the ones that are off-topic funny; movie quotes; song lyrics, etc. My current headline is "Too Much Champagne Is Just Right". (random but also applicable). Mine says "NERD ALERT!" |

So instead of restating the obvious, but in DORK fashion .. a cool headline is just saying something we really DO want to know or fun stuff .. It's not that hard. Honestly. Gosh .. this thread sure has people thinking though |

Is there anything someone can say about themselves the presents them in a positive light? I think you kind of hit the nail on the head there... I say who really cares what everyone else thinks, anyways put what ya like what you are looking for w/o using cliches, I guess....personally I just dont give a dam about it..... I have to agree. You are never going to please everyone. I started the thread last night on a whim .. cuz I am soooooooooooooo not outdoorsy and everyone I see from Colorado is. Actually I am the one who is on 'the outside looking in' here in "God's Country" ha ha ha (not that I even have the interest to be lookin in =) And I personally DON'T care what anyone thinks about my profile .. cuz I actually AM easy going and say so And my headline? It's a line from a fav song of mine .. and what I believe at my core, so ya. Who gives a rip eh? |

The profiles that state "Not into games"! Makes one think they might be a game player but can't stand to be played upon.
