House of 1000 Corpses.
Rob Zombie! Nuff said... This movie makes ALL other Horror movies seem trite! Jason and Freddie move aside! Doctor Satan lives and he is PISSED OFF! There were homages throughout the movie to past horror classics. This one was a Sexy Weird Freak Show with a Bag of Fried Chicken (Spicy). Dr. Satan would scare the poo poo out of Freddie Cruger! The clown is real white bread trailer trash! Rob Zombie! YOU RULE! |

Too each their own, Andy Can't say I'm a Rob Zombie fan. But I hope he does keep making movies because he's helping to keep R-Rated horror in the theaters alive.

Rob Zombie's "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto" was a riot! Who thought you could make an Ape intelligent with a screw in his head. And the Heroin Vanessa Von Black, Big ****, BAD attitude! And Steve Walchowski? See it and figure him out! |

I actually thought both of them were funny...but I'm sick, so that kind of explains it I guess.
Both excellent movies though, own them both too. |

They were very entertaining in a B movie kinda way!! I dont think Id call them scary tho?? His Halloween's were much better!! That being said he needs to put down the camera and grab the microphone! His music is genius his movies are ... meh?
He and John 5 together is a match made in heaven!! |

Just seen Devil's Rejects...
It IS a sequel to House of a Thousand Corpses. Same characters! Otis was there to do the Devil's work. He was sure good at it all the way to the end! I am a fan of Rob Zombie for sure but not in the crazy 'got a shrine' cult like fan but I just like his work a lot! I am eager to see more from him. His videos are very cinematic as well! many of them are about movies like a Clockwork Orange and he has two videos for that one! Red Red Kroovy and Durango 65. Drag-U-La is a tribute to the Munsters and they use the Drag-U-La dragster (the 1/4 mile coffin Grandpa drove once in a while) in the Video as well. The man loves his classic cinema! |

Andy, did you see Zombie when he hosted TCM Underground? He only did it for a couple of months. I always wondered why he stopped.

He is really different when he is not on stage! Yeah, he was cool on there. Now they don't even have a host. Maybe they weren't letting him play the movies he wanted. Too bad. I did listen to his commentary for Halloween out of curiosity- he's far more interesting to listen to than many directors. Too bad he isn't one of those directors like Eli Roth or John Waters that commentate on movies besides their own, I wouldn't mind hearing Zombie's views on some of his favorite movies. |

You gotta see him in concert!! Thats where he shines. Although he has toned down a lot the last few tours. Still a great show!!
