i intern at a vet hospital and some girl brought in 2stray cats. she couldn't afford to take care of them nor afford to pay the shelter to take them. i without thinking said i will take them and foster them till i find a home b/c im pretty good at finding homes. Problem is i may have a harder time finding a home than i thought. it will cost alot more money to get them better and i know people only want to take cats if healthy.i cant afford everything that needs to be done but i did buy the basics today. im a little discouraged i wont be able to find a home ....just wanted to vent

So there's this guy accross the street has 16 cats. There are 3 or 4 strays running around. He's been feeding the strays at my house. I told him hey why you feeding them over here. I don't want them crossing the street. And I'm saying me neither so once they get across keep them over there.

Dont be discouraged lala, you have two new friends now. I think you will find a place for them. even if its right where they are.

thanks everyone...i most likely will pay with school money for their treatment...i want to cuddle with them so bad but they may have ringworm lol and i dont want that :)

i've taken in quite a few dogs and cats that were strays.luckily i was able to find all of them great homes

If you take them to the zoo..and just let them in into the lion's den, I've heard they will become friends.

ringworm can be treated but i dont want it lol its really contagious and itchy and a pain in the ***...so ill pass

Try putting up pictures and donation jars at daycare's and pet stores, toy stores etc. places kids can see them and beg mom to help.

I'd look online for a natural cure, if there is one.

Have you tried getting carecredit to help pay the bills for the kitties? It's like a credit card, but dependin on how much the bill is, you get 6, 12 or 18 months to pay them off without interest.
