Those of you who think that 'the grass is greener on the other side' are forgetting that the greener the grass, the more 'fertilize' it contains.

Well, when you look around and everything is dead or cropped so close to the ground as to not exist anymore, then it's probably time to climb over the fence.

grass would not be green with fertilizer alone, however it takes the time to water it, that actually nourishes it so it never dies

Happens when you are comparing YOUR internal world to their external world. The 'good looking ' ones may get some initial interest but they must have something more in order to keep the interest. All we 'see' is the external and assume its all good emotionally/intellectually too.

Reverse example: I know this gal who is carrying a few extra lbs. and I am being kind. She has a very pretty face, sharp mind, great organizational skills, a pleasant person, teaches belly dancing. When she is dancing she is HOTT. But a majority of guys don't know that because all they see is the size, not the person. (yes I am guilty of this too.)

I don't ever think the grass is greener. You can never really trust what you see. The happiest couples may not be. The most attractive on the outside, might be horrible on the inside. I try to count my blessings everyday and not covet other's "grass".
