(June 9) -- If someone breaks into your house, you call 911. If you break your leg, you call 911. But if you've got a broken heart, calling 911 won't do you much good.

An Alliance, Ohio, woman learned just that after she dialed the emergency number and begged the operator to help her find a husband.

Police arrested Audrey Scott after she called 911 five times in an hour and demanded that operator Christi Klimes bring her a man, according to a 911 recording obtained by NBC 4.

Talk about dialing the wrong number. Police say Audrey Scott of Alliance, Ohio, called 911 five times in an hour and asked operators to help her find a husband. She was hit with misdemeanor charges and served three days in jail.

Scott: Get me that husband.

911 Dispatcher: You need to get a husband?

Scott: Yes.

911 Dispatcher: You're calling 911 to get a husband? Do you know you can get arrested for dialing 911?

Scott: Let's do it.

911 Dispatcher: You want to get arrested for dialing 911?

Scott: Absolutely.

Police picked up Scott and brought her to jail, where she stayed for three days on a "class four misdemeanor," according to Fox 8.

After being released, Scott said she tried to turn 911 into a dating hot line only because she had had a few too many drinks.

"I had too much to drink. I was feeling bad," said Scott, who admits she "called 911 for no good reason."

Klimes has served as an emergency operator for 21 years, but even after two decades of taking calls, she said she was shocked by the request.

"We've heard everything, and then someone like this comes along and you're still, like, 'Oh, my gosh. She just did not ask for that,'" she said.
