day camping? Wouldn't that just be "visiting"? I like going swimming without actually going in the water or getting wet Then that would be considered "watching others swim" and not swimming??? |

Ohhh Hell the Hot Air Balloon ride would be a blast I would think. Heck and I'm scared of heights but would go up in one.... Hummm and well my thoughts of camping is pulling up and pulling out the electrical cord and plugging it in then getting a chair sit down and enjoy the scenery Don't get me wrong I love to go out walking, tubing, fishing ect I just like my comforts of home along with me lmao.. It is hot in Texas even at night and I can't sleep when it is hot.......... I pull a little trailer that one end folds down into a tent and the other end has a ramp to load my Harley. The trailer has air conditioning, a small kitchen and a smaller bath. The a/c cools the tent at night. That is my kind of camping now I can cook on and open fire but heck they have those small grills you can get.... Ohh and I have to have a way to take a shower even if it is from a hose with a 5 gallon bucket lmao |

Dude, what river were you on??? Looks like the Platte.... I was in high school and pro rodeo growing up. We had national finals in Douglas, Wy, in 1982, 1983 and 1984. The fair grounds were located on the Platte River. We camped (well, not really because we were in expensive motor homes) for 2 weeks during the finals. I swam daily in the Platte and cruised on a raft with tons of other kids. I was horrified later on to find out the Platte has water moccasins!! A naïve California girl doesn’t do well in unknown rivers! |

A naïve California girl doesn’t do well in unknown rivers! We saw some water snakes but didn't know they were cottonmouths. The locals warned us AFTER we got out of the water. I am speaking of the North Platte that runs through parts of Wyoming - specifically Douglas. I looked it up before I made my post to make sure I was referring to the correct river. Google confirmed there are cottonmouths in the Platte; thankfully I never met any of them. |
