Shoot, I've never had a guy come up to me when I've been out and about. And all I ever see are the married ones, with kids, or with their buddies. Well, let's face it. The majority of the people who are out shopping in stores aren't looking for a date, neither expecting to hook up with someone. It's obvious, regardless of what anyone says. The worst part is up here north. Regulations after regulations (and I wittnessed this through 17 years) destroyed every single hangout place around here...last year 2 clubs closed down..which were already 30 minutes driving away. And then the cops are surprised that even the teens and youths in the 20s are hanging out in gas stations and basically on the street, because there isn't a place to go for entertainment and have a social life. I'm not even gonna mention the stupid regulations for 21 and above, such as bars shutting down at 2:30am and of course the fact, that if I want to get anywhere, I have to sit into my car and drive around and only make contact with people in person, when I get out (Cities are better in this). People won't take the trains, neither buses since those are counted as "low school, poor people's ride" even though when I was 15 years old, I met my first girlfriend on a train and it was always a good place to meet someone interesting, since everyone is just sitting and traveling and there isn't much to do beside that. Shops, stores, etc..are not meant to be and never looked as places to meet people, nevermind the fact that your standard shopping guest is 90% of the time has a family and probably married. |

Oh, I won't even get into the crookedness of our town officials on similar stunts here in Ennis. We've had so many businesses and quality restaurants and other stores go to other towns that it truly appears the mayor is getting a kickback somewhere. We had some teens lay out a couple versions of a proposal trying to even get a club for them opened, even expressing interest in doing so next to or across from the main police station and got shot down for it, ya know its bad. Of course, when the local cops get busted for taking bribes by the local big drug dealer, what can you say. As for meeting people, I'm beginning to think its wishful thinking anymore. |

Equus, 8 hours... that's not too bad, but your milk might not be fresh when you get it home!

Equus, 8 hours... that's not too bad, but your milk might not be fresh when you get it home! Lol! The milk wouldn't make it home, to be honest. I tend to drink milk when driving rather then sodas. A small cooler, a gallon or two of milk and I am set! |

Ok..not here on mingle, I mean in "real life" ~ outside, stores, streets etc. I had to go to 3 different stores (including a book store, Walmart, Bestbuy) and I didn't see 1 single woman in any of the stores even though that wasn't my purpose but I took a note of it (just so I can b1tch about it here :). So...where are they? I figured, if they don't go to pubs, they must go somewhere..right? If they won't go to meet guys in pubs and bars..I figured they don't expect the guys to ring a bell at each house and ask if there is a single woman living there..right? I see women everywhere I go... must be where you live |

They travel in caravans or get a temporary boyfriend to go shopping. |

Well I see women who are alone, I don't know if they are single or not Easy. If they are pushing a cart and buying a lot of stuff, they got kids and perhaps a husband . Single women do not shop a lot of stuff for themselves. They are usually on a diet. (regardless of their weight and look) I can pick out a single woman from the crowd just watching her what she is buying. If it's pretzels and those natural stuff and it's the amount I would buy for my 3lb cat, then she is single. The problem is I don't see those..all I see is women pushing carts with lots of stuff in it..and when they venture into the baby food and the beer isle then I know there is a family and a husband somewhere. |

Well then based on those assumptions I would have a husband and kids....

Well then based on those assumptions I would have a husband and kids.... Alright then I'm gonna revise it. Anyone outside that category that appears to have a family should be making eye contact with the guy staring at her throughout the whole store, sometimes following her, and want to be behind her in the cashier isle. Women always say that guys don't make it obvious or don't pick up the signals. It's also true for women. |

Well some women who are single do have kids and would need to be buying a lot more than enough food to feed a 3lb cat. I personally LOVE to eat and have a roommate to cook for also. We both like beer/wine/booze and honestly while at the grocery store we're not looking around to pick up on men. We are there for groceries.

it doesnt increase my odds Yeah it does! You should move to a town like mine, lots of bi women means lot's of free guys available. The bars and the pubs are nothing but sausage fests. |
