Do you have them? How high are they? Are they keeping people out or keeping you in?

Yes, and they are infinitely high... but they have doors and open for the person with the right key!

Yes I do, but they are not that high. People can get in. Now, I can think of some people I've talked to who's walls are so high I can't even see the top.

My walls are way too short. I trip on them and fall into people. Its very upsetting. Well get to building, nothing worse than having walls that are insufficient. LOL |

Do you have them? How high are they? Are they keeping people out or keeping you in? I’d say I have a few walls and they are functional in both ways; keeping other out and me in. My walls are, however, easily lowered when I meet someone who is in harmony with me (this includes friends). I don’t have a chip on my shoulder, and I am open to entertaining new people in my life but I am very selective as to who I allow in my world. I refuse to allow other people’s drama to affect me – and tear me down. |

Keeping others out... for good reason. My wall is like a puzzle, if you're smart enough to figure it out I'll let you in. I don't have any walls that keep me in... I let the real me out for everyone to see.

I don't need walls. I have a moat. And it's full of llamas. And they don't swim as well as one might think.

So here's another one: I have walls -- they're called "other people's limitations." ![]() I believe that was half true. 58.2% anyway. Thing is, I've historically been very naive and stupid when going into relationship scenarios, and, yes, there has developed (MUCH too late, but better late than never) a sort of self-defense mentality/methodology when it comes to this sort of thing NOW -- But the old inclinations persist, and I have found myself moving in directions that force me to stop and say "Whoa, this is idiotic." I suppose that's a wall. But the same wall that blocks the good one from getting in also blocks the poison arrow. Is it worth it? I think that's up to each of us individually.... |
