I am new to running and i seem to get out of breath easily....any advice?

Start off at a slower pace... breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth. Keep your body straight and tall, when you're hunched over you constrict your lungs. Make sure you're properly hydrated (drinking lots of water during the day)
Oh and smile, I dont know why but it helps |

When I started I found it really helped if I was listening to music, I guess I tended to think about the music more than about how tired I was.

When I started I found it really helped if I was listening to music, I guess I tended to think about the music more than about how tired I was. Yup, that's a good one too! Also having a buddy to run with can be motivating. Don't eat before you run either. (2 hours or so) |
