well P i hope we can continue this journey for a long time. it's funny though, the accolades and approval are way less important as the years drift by...the old saying rings so true. (youth being wasted) |

Excellent piece! Loved it, especially being a baseball fanatic.
Take solace in that many a longball have been launched with an 0-2 count and they're usually game winners in the late innings. That's a hell of a feeling to go out on.
One question though...What'd the other 3 guys do? Don't tell me you don't remember either if you struck out 18! That's one helluva feat!  To you...for this and that.
thank you for the comments the other 3?.....well, the first batter of the game grounded to short. In the 5th my best friend popped out to the second baseman. The last batter of the game flew out to our left fielder who caught the ball with his back against the wall…hahaha…(not that it has stayed with me or anything…lmao )  I knew you'd know!
A perfect game with 18 Ks...legendary stuff.
