Spider can jump. Oh once I killed one big one in florida and the baby were on it so gross.

Spiders. I'm glad I don't live where there's jumping spiders they say that tarantulas taste like crabs... I've house sat for one of my sisters a few times, and she has a pet tarantula, oddly it didn't bother me as much as I thought it would when I had to feed it and put fresh water in its bowl. Though I probably would have had a heart attack if it did move... I've the same feeling everytime when it's raining and the earthworms start to come out - OMG, I can spot them even w/o wearing my glasses on

They're roaches. 'Palmetto bugs', 'water bugs' ... ? Nuh-unh ... 'Periplaneta Americana' is what it is ... be glad that we've moved on from the late 1800s and early 1900s, too ... my grandmother used to tell me that the cure for lockjaw (you may say 'tetanus') before the vaccine was a 'cure' known as 'roach tea' - and yes, it IS what you think it is ... roaches would be gathered and boiled and the victim would have to drink the 'tea' made from the process ... I do b'leeve I'da died, 'cuz I can't see drinking that kinda stuff.
