What are you talking about, guys? Isn't this another religious site? After all, the title says "Sometimes god bye is a second chance!!!So, from that point of view, when god goes by, there's always a second chance * * *
As for the dating games, second chances are my favorite -- especially the ones that have been feeled with mutual passion! (depending on how we've parted, of course) So, TJN, enjoy and go for it! (unless she's already preoccupied with someone else) |

Well that's kind of a hard question..........guess it kind of depends on the situation

Actually sat down and thought about the 2nd time around thing when it came up and realized it would be the first time all over again after awhile...

Have you ever loved someone and lost them. And thought to yourself maybe I could have a second chance? Sure, but the second chance has never worked out any better than the first. And I've had some that went to third and fourth chances. Still no better. |

Actually tried the second chance thing or was going to but found out once we were together the feelings were no longer the same...........but it actually gave me the closer I was looking for.........so all was good after all...

I think good bye is a second chance at happiness... with a new and better situation... could be a job, a city or a person
No sense going down the same roads over and over and still never being happy or getting anywhere. You can only do it so long, and if the outcome never changes.. time to change gears and direction and say goodbye. Another chance for one's self to have inner peace and happiness. And I think Shinedown is awesome anyways... |

Groans.... How can a thread be highjacked so fast?! |
|
|

Look, the only way to have a second chance is by changing yourself, i.e. acquiring new qualities -- better job, better status, different outlook on life, etc.etc.etc. Then you'll be in a better position to win a second chance (or you'll have the opportunity of finding so many new "opportunities" that the second chance will no longer seem as attractive)!!!

It's like The Who said ...
"Here comes the new boss / Same as the old boss ... " 'Second chance' is just another way of sayin' 'Just got fooled again' ... |

... 'Just got fooled again' ...
Sounds like nobody's ever given you a second chance! Well, some people are worth it, some aren't!!! |

Been there, done that... we got back together 4 years later and life had dealt us both a whole new bag of issues to deal with this time around. Long story short it didn't work out, again, but ended the same way it did last time and we are still friends.

Yes. I think that when you really love someone you always have hope. But time and experience have a way of changing who we were then, what was important to us, how we see things.
