I'm having trouble meeting up with new people outside of school, which sucks since school wont start up again for 4 months. To top it off all of my friends moved back home to their own cities, so I'm prettymuch left alone here. =X Anyone got any tips on meeting new people in Oakville Ontario (basically a tiny little town with two malls and nothing else)?
And for the record, yes I literally do not know how to meet new people. Up until this point all my friends were from school. |

start off with small talk ask them to do a activity i just moved to north dakota and what i did was find some guys at the sporting goods store and started bsin about sports the next thing i know were out at the bars having a good time
|

im the same way, its hard, my advice is find what you like and meet people through it. If your a social bug go to areas with lots of casual purpose mingling. Loner gamer type like me, online, game stores/areas, etc. the trick to all of it is small talk, find a conversation and let it go ^^

The main problem for me is that I don't really know any social areas around here. It doesn't help that I'm a reclusive gamer that knows very little about sports or anything else mainstream, and I'm horrible with smalltalk =X. Probably explains why I'm here xD

exactly if you dont like sports or the big social scene dont look there ^^ its one of those things that you find the best friends and all by what you do, online gaming for example with gamers is the best! i got so many great close friends from that, some in person, many planet wide. Enriches life alot ^^

i hear that, but your looking ^^ get some confidence dude you look good, gamer is something most people love these days, etc. You will do great :D juststart slow and make your way up there ^^

hehe thanks, but I suck =x All of the girls I met don't seem to like video gamers. Going slowly also came back to bite me in the *** a few times, since everyone I met gets a bf in under a week or so.

naw, your a cutie, im a girl and think it hehe its hard to find a gamer girl thats for sure, but we do exist ha, and we often want a gamer guy to share the fun of pwning eachother haha. theres many more girls than guys on the planet so never get down with already taken,thats our side worry haha.
May not be much now but im sure youl do good, looks and charisma of other guys dies away fast, its the sweet fun men like yourself who will keep the girl you find. |
