I named my son Michael 26 years ago. Surprised to still find it's on the list as top 10 now. It ranks in at a #3. I named him Michael not only because it was popular but because I loved the name!!!!:

I was named after my dad Michael "Mike" ... As the first born if I had been a boy I would have been named Mike but since I came out with a vajayjay my Mom had to come up with a new game plan. Dad wanted to name me Michelle, Mom wanted something different. You would be shocked how often my name is butchered.... I mean really how hard is My-ka? |
