I take it both of you are "Pure blood Americans" from the Puritan Blue Blood Set? My Italian predecessors came here legally. I have room to have pride in my heritage.

I am American. My blood is ROMAN, not pansy flavored watered down Italian. I think like a Roman. I would love to find a real toga. Heck, I still want to get a real set of Samurai Armor just because I think it is cool but that is not the point.

Now I would love to know when people are being sarcastic vs. when they actually mean something because first and foremost a lot of sarcasm shot on this board was either aimed callously and unnecessarily like other female members use and that it unfair when trying to make a point. There are too many S heads muddying up perfectly good debates with sarcastic statements that sound like the liberal diatribe I am so used to receiving from key members.

At least I qualify sarcasm with some reference to me being sarcastic. If all you can do is live to try to catch people in some kind of web of words that is just weak. Talk about sensationalists!

Andy, let me be clear, I recognize that you are an American and I do not take issue with your pride in your Italian ancestry. I hoped you would have recognized the apparent sarcasm in my comments and paused to think about it for a moment.

What the point was, is that you were making some very angry & hostile comments about Americans of Mexican heritage if they display the same pride in their Mexican ancestry yet posted a thread showing pride in your Italian ancestry.

I think you have some real anger issues and need to seek help.

Then I will put passion aside and grant an explanation of why I feel the way I do. Los Angeles IS FULL of Hispanics from all along the Central American Peninsula. Many of them are really decent people. Some of them become Americans and some of them are Mexican nationals and come here for work but most of them have work Visas. When you live among a culture you learn a lot about it. Let me explain what a lot of people do not see.

I have come across a lot of hard core beaners that have the Pancho Villa mentality. That is the morality of the drug runners and coyotes. They will smile at you when they are alone and act all friendly but get a group of them together and suddenly they get brave. They have a total criminal mentality and will do anything to anyone not of Mexican heritage to get ahead and that extends to Guatemalans, Salvadorans, Nicaraguans and Panamanians. They hate Gringos as much as I hate our idiot government leaders. Actually they hate us more because I am not shooting at Congress or City hall.

There has been a number of times in my younger days looking for work only to be told, "there is no work for you here gringo," by the people working where I was applying.

There is a huge difference in National Pride and what a lot of the Hispanic Community pull here. To this day a lot of them think they own California. They trash their neighborhoods and make them mirror images of the hell hole Mexico is. Worst is when they hold their little "Pride" rallys and god forbid you should wear the Bars and Stars in their presence. What the media never tells you is the beer bottles flying at people, rocks flying at people, the Vandalism and tagging.

Hell, I have gotten into it with Koreans trying to act like Koreans here. If you never met an off the boat Korean you would never understand arrogance to the degree they can express it. Like I have said before, I would never go to a man's home and insult him to his face or piss on his floor. These A holes need to learn to behave like civilized people or get out!

The Mexican Mafia actually uses our prison system to protect them from each other. Their chief shot callers sit back getting their three hots and a cot ordering their flunkies on the other side to kill people over racial lines. Hell, there is a race war going on right now in harbor City between the Mexican Mafia and Harbor City Crips. The orders are 'to kill all ni@@gers on sight' and their death to the last one is MANDATORY! That means they are to shoot at any and ALL black people they come across irregardless of affiliation or lack there of. Again of course that never makes the news.

So do you see why I have a problem with them? I am not mad at Americans who are proudly from Hispanic heritage. I am not mad per say at Mexicans because I know in my heart not all of them are bad people and it is a portion of their population that is creating the problems. What I am pissed off at however is their shoving their political beliefs of an open border with them, I am sick of them acting like Americans have an Obligation to rescue them from themselves. They made their country what it is and if they can't fight for themselves to take their country back from the criminals I don't want them coming here unless they are getting guns and ammo and go back to take their country back!!

I am sick and tired of all these "Afro Americans," "Mexican Americans," and all these supposed minority groups waving their flags in our face and pissing on ours. Right now I would never willingly set foot in Mexico unless I was armed to the teeth.
I do not want an open border with a corrupt nation! I feel sorry for the good people of Mexico but they either Nut up and fight for their country or they need to shut up and be taken advantage of like good little beyatchess.

Yeah I am proud to have been born of one of the greatest civilizations to ever grace this planet but above and beyond all I am American. When was the last time you seen a pack of Anglos or REAL Caucasians holding a protest rally waving their flags in everyone's faces? How about the Greeks or Albanians? Most of the Afghans here are really happy to be here rather than in their own toilet of a country. Heck the last Iraqi I met actually claimed to be Persian WAY before he said he was Iraqi.

Sarcasm is a dangerous tool, if it is used in a blanket sense it can drag you into something because of fallacious application of a potentially correct view point. It is hard to be passionate and be objective. I am still to this day trying to find the middle ground. I am not out to just insult people but I will speak my mind. I try to have more than just blanket prejudice. When I have a reason to hate something it is usually founded very well for very good reasons.

Does it not make you angry when a guest acts like a sheethead? That is how I see a lot of the racial sentiment spewed by all these minority groups. That is what I call the "Racial Complex." I dearly wish people would get over themselves. Not once have I ever claimed to be a minority or a majority.

All I claim is that my heritage is Roman!
