And, "where I want to work" (no at).

a good cover letter will get, and keep, the readers attention while you summarize why you'd be the best suited person for the position. lots of good resources online for this, and make sure you spell and grammar check. even the best written cover letter/resume can wind up in the trash pile if you don't!! good luck!

Thank you! I plan on having my parents check it over for me. Just in case.

Make sure you focus on your people skills and your ability to get along with others in a diverse work environment. Focus on a positive work attitude.

You can teach people technical skills very easily, it's much harder to teach people how to get along.

Good luck! drinker

http://www.careercc.com/resumpr.shtml#Two%20Types%20of%20Cover%20Letters%20Specific%20and%20General%20Examples

Here is and example they have several different ones on the site as well.

At times some will also tell you to leave the cover sheet off and put everything on one page with your summary at the top of your resume. For too long of a resume tend not to get read all the way...

Good luck with it it took me 2 days to do my resume and found all the info I needed online to help me out just took a lot of researching and reading to find what worked best for me...

Keep It Simple Stupid!

Just stick to the facts Maam! List previous related experience and training and that the position they are offering you is perfect for you and why.

If it fits in a nut shell you have a good cover letter.

Drop War and Peace on them and you are sunk before the manuscript hits the desk!
