The 5 roses stand for my family members... the 2 larger ones are my mom and step dad, smaller are my brother and step sister and the little bud is my nephew (sisters son)

agree - the tattoo is lovely I lost my mom this past summer so this is the first mother's day without her I will be spending the day with my sons (and the girlfriends ~ whom I fortunately am very fond of). Brunch at my oldest son's place. It should be a good day!

Brunch at my oldest son's place. It should be a good day! I am so sorry for your loss and this day will be bittersweet for you. How great you have your sons and their GF's to give you special times.

My Mom has been gone for 9 yrs now.......The mother of my children....well I did send a card last yr. I don't think I will this yr.

I have 2 sons, and 3 daughters. Right now 1 son, 2 daughters live with me (and a son in law). One daughter lives backeast and one son in Fort Collins. Each are a precious part of my life .. Being a mom ROCKS ON !!!!

yes, in my case it really does rock on as my sons and I share musical tates and interests - we are always doing something musical or computer related it seems!!!

We always treat her to a brunch out and then let her and my dad the rest of the day to themselves!!! THEY love the silence!! LOL .. so I take it they still have kids living at home? Nope no kids they are 81 and 79 respectfully but many grankids and great grand kids so we give them a break away from us all!!!
