Last night I was in a lively discussion with several women that many Mingle2 patrons are here for FRIENDSHIP and BLOGGING only. I base this on the fact that Mingle2 has a global patronage and many members are actively posting and responding to posts. Based upon the response to my post last night, it would seem that Mingle2 members have little time for actual dating. So, I would like you, the Mingle2 patrons settle the issue: How many of you have ACTUALLY DATED someone you met on this site? Be honest now. How did that date/relationship work out, conclude, etc.? I've date one woman from here. Saw her a few times and nothing more came of it. I have a date in May with someone else from here. We'll see what happens, but all signs are pointing in positive directions. |

oh yeah,, Matt from Southern Cal,,, we walked on the beach and he had his guitar and serenaded me,,,than we set out to a seafood restaurant for some crab legs,,,followed with mints,,,and great conversation while walking in the night air back to the beach ,,,where we got in our cars and went back to our respective homes,,,, oh,, wait,,, I was dreaming again,,,nah,, no dates yet,,,lol Sounds like Bryon from Southen Colorado... He was dreaming of msharmony...  always making me blush,,,,are there beaches in southern colorado?....lol

i did go on a date from somebody from this site well it was a mutual break up but now hes a really good friend of my and basically i consider him my older brother

I dated someone from here in November-December. Finally someone in my age group, within a 30-minute drive of me. Had fun, liked him a lot, but unfortunately he was hell-bent on looking for someone else right out in the open for me to see. He was also of the born-again Christian mentality, that overzealous sort

Ok. Back on topic. I also read the discussion that was going on last night. I don't remember Melody, or The Prncs or Cher ever saying that they thought they were "all that". Yes, these are three beautiful women (duh) but I happen to have chatted with these ladies for quite some time. And, believe it or not...all three of them have a "brain".   I think that maybe what bothered the OP here so much is that all three were just stating how the disagreed with his opinion last night and he didn't seem to like it. Or maybe he feels he could never date any of the three. I dunno. I mean....dude...three women who are opinionated and will tell you how they feel abou something....well.....that is one hot foursome!

I dated a wonderful lady I met here for 9 months, we lived together for 6 months and it ended due to a issue in my life. We had fun, were very close and remain friends.
Due to the fact I ended the relationship as I felt that my issue was unfair to her and this made her feel unsafe in restarting the relationship even though the issue is now behind me and is taken care of. We see each other from time to time but she is unwilling to enter back into the relationship I want so, I respect her decision. It seems that the time apart empowered her to create a life that there is no time for a full time relationship with me and also that time apart killed that strong connection we had. While this saddens me I understand and wish her the very best. |
