i only saw the trailers, and it was scary.

I was expecting to be disappointed by the movie, but it definitely kept me entertained, and the ending had a pretty good twist at the end.

I went with a couple friends & I thought it was one of those movies that kept you watching but had no actual content at the end. All 3 of us left the theater wondering what the heck we'd just watched!! I though it was weird & so did they!!

I enjoyed reading the novel "Shutter Island"by Dennis Lehane rather than the movie.I enjoyed the read.I certainly was surprised by that twist at the end concerning the U.S. Marshal.
