why would finding ourselves here mean someone somehow messed up?

I effed up about 19 years ago, so I'm beyond redemption.

My biggest 'mistake' so far is an overtendency to see good in others.

IN and of itself this isnt a bad trait, but when it causes one to be DISHONEST about real obstacles that may be there it can lead to catastrophic 'relationships'.

I like where I am now...taking my time, actually making friendships.

I feel free to keep good friends without feeling pressure to commit to something more((especially restricted to online conversation where there is less risk of physical attraction or passion blinding my senses..lol)

I think it all started years ago when some guy in a white coat slapped me on the butt and I first opened my eyes.
