Topic: Angels among us | |
---|---|
As I sit here typing away at my keyboard,
I go over all the people I have met. I have met men, I have met women, Married, single and divorced. I have met all kinds of people, While here at Just Say Hi. Some have been real nice, While others were huge ass. But among all THe nice folk, And all the great friends, Their have been a few that qualify, As angels sent from God. LaMom, Natasha, Imbroglio and petite-Kitten, Are just four of the many, Who have helped me pull through. They have listend, and they have talked, They have cried and they have held, To this day I say this, I love them all. AutumnLee showed me it was safe to love, MaseyGirl showed me to be wary as well. Fanta, armydoc, gardenforge and gary, you all showed me how to debate. Big glenn and Papa, you both taught me to laugh, Sadie, There's too much to be said. These past several months, have been some of the best, That I have ever encountered in my entire life. I can not forget Jean, Shenadra, and Snowbird, I refuse to forget even one person non-grata. Izzie you have shown me that true friends exist still, Again I love you all and Angels you are. This goes out to every single person on JSH wether you have been nice or you have been an ass. For either way you have helped show me and others what to do and when to run. Angels are not neccesarily those that are nice. The devil can be an angel if he fails to entice. So go forward all you Angels, And show the whole world, what it means to be loved, not for lust, but yourself. For everyone here is an angel, when all comes down to count. |

I am truly and deeply sorry for your loss my dear. And even though
there is nothing that can be said to ease your pain, please rest asured that I and a lot of other people will be here if you need to cry or remember your friend. I too just lost a very good friend this spring. Not cancer but a very major shock und surprise. He was only 52 years old and he just went to bed and did not wake up. Nothing wrong with him at all, he was happy and looking forward to the summer when he was gonna go visit his mother in new york. Instead she had to coem over here to help bury him Tony started out as my sixth grade band instructor, but quickly turned into mentor, then friend, followed by older brother/father figure. He was there to help me overcome alchohol issues when I was in high school (my fathers not my personal ones) and he was there when I received the semper fidelis award for my chosen instrument, which is one of the highest awards a high school band member can win; if not THE highest. he sent taped performances of me into various universities without my knwoledge in order to try and help me get the music degree I wanted (to include Juliard). He drove me down to the army meps station two hours away in his own vehicle for me to audition for the army band, and for me to raise my hand the first time, knowing my father did not approve. I was eighteen though and my father did not have a say. So, when I was walking up to get my son off the bus and heard the middle school students all talking about his death, needless to say I thought my life was gonna stop right then and there. Even now, I have tears in my eyes just typing about it to allof you. So please my dear Lady, do not hesitate to call on one of us if you need a shoulder. |
