how long do you usually stay on it? and do you cheat? do you have a treat day? what makes your diet successful? do you set a time limit for your diet.. ie.. im staying on it for one month.. or something like that?
for me ive gone on them a few times in my life.. maybe 5 times.. seems that the longest ive lasted is 2 weeks... i dont cheat , and once i allowed one day on the weekend to go off it..only for one item though lol..ive never set a time limit for my diets.. thinking i should though |

I have been on the 6 week body makeover since the last week in February. It teaches you how to eat for your bodytype, and you eat 5-6 times a day.It is the best thing I have ever done-your not hungry and I feel satisfied so I don't cheat.I have lost 35 pds so far and want at least 20 more off.The only thing I couldn't give up completely was Mtn Dew-cuz I am totally addicted to the stuff.

Honestly, dieting is an art. Oddly just adjusting your eating habits can go a long way. You can skip breakfast and eat a decent lunch but again it is exercise, monitoring anything that can be converted into fat, and not eating everything under the sun is what works usually.
Here is something people get very wrong, If you try exercising and you do not sweat, you are not exercising. Now in a swimming pool the whole sweat thing does not apply. Also people serious about weight loss and maintenance work out more than once a day and they have a varied regiment. All the Thai Bo in the world will not do the whole job! There has to be balance and spreading the effort out over your whole body. Now eating healthy is very good because it keeps you from getting into trouble in the first place. |

Remember of course it's Diet and Excerise, TOGETHER. You cannot have diet and no excercise, just like you can't have excercise and no diet. You must do both, and seriously. I would also suggest writing off desserts completely. Lots of citrus and foods with a high fiber content seem to work too. For drinks other than the obvious no sugar sodas, try not to have diet drinks inluding pepsi max or coke zero, even though they don't have sugar, they are still loaded with all kinds of weird chemicals that can't possibly be good for your body. So I would say maybe more water, vitamin waters, teas, and plenty of fruit and vegetable juices if you can.

im curious... is there a better time of the day to exercise? Ive always been told morning U are refreshed and your mind is more open to excersise rather than later in the day!! That may me true, but sometimes it's a matter of preference. For me, I prefer afternoons or evenings. I start like an old cadillac in the morning, it takes a while. So as long as you make a committment to stick with an excerise regiment it shouldn't matter too much what time of day it is. |
