If you are a woman, did your mom come up with a boy name in case if you were to be born a boy?
How about guys? My name was going to be Barbara.

I was told that if I was a boy then I would have been left at the hospital. She didn't want a boy, plan for a boy or think of a boy.

eh, all my sisters got beautiful names, I got the ugly one. I don't know if there was a boy named picked out or not..

I was supposed to be named Terry Lynn but my father got to choose my name instead. Grr.....

They wanted a girl as firstborn. The joke was that if I had been dad would have stuck me back in and told me not to come out till I was female.
Name-wise, it would have been Phillip for the horse meaning. |

mom had 3 choices, Samantha/Sam, Stephanie/Stevie or Anastasia/Stacy <phew! dodged a bullet with that last one!

My mom wanted to name me Lori Ann but lost out to my dad and I became Barbara Ann. I don't know if they had a boy name. |

My mum always wanted to name me Hannah, but If i was a boy I would have been Micheal.

my Mom and Dad had a vey simple PLAN,,,
I would be NAMED TERRY-TERRI,,,,ether WAY!!!! And then Lee,,or Lynn THIS must be where I get MY SIMPLE THINKING FROM,,, 
NOW,,when naming our son,,I jokinly told HER(my ex) we could name him Edgar Allen,,,,,,,,as my last name is Roe.....not Poe,,but close,,, HE would have GROWN to HATE US,,,,,,lol,lol |

If I had been a boy I would have been Keiren. That would have been a lot of fights in the school yard!

I was one of the last of the Boomers to be born. (Boomers ended on Dec 31st, 64.. My bday is Nov 23rd).. My folks had no idea what I was gonna be, but since Mom went into labor with me on my Uncle Jack's bday, I was gonna either be John or Jacqueline.

I would have been Anthony, my mom's weird sort of a mnemonic for "Another oNe of THOse damN boYs"! Luckily I was a girl. But we call my little brother Tony for short.

My daughters name is Hannah ...I had Philip if she had been a boy.
Then when I went on to have a boy I named him Joel !!!!!!!!!!! |

if I had been a boy it would have been Michael (after my dad) or Robert (after the 6 other Roberts in my family) Glad I'm a girl. Got enough Roberts in the family
