What are you wrenching on Willie? rebuilding transfer cases for two of my pickups. getting near time to get out in the woods and get a little wood and enjoy the solitude of the mountains Ya wear em out rock climbing?

Tim, my mom was 93 when she died last summer, she could remember all 155 of us's bdays, marriage days, divorce days, and all the ancestors bdays back 7 generations. She could also recite all the states and capitols, and all the counties of all the states and the county seats. I could never believe it when she did it.

I think a lot has to do with the way they were taught. I remember them saying that they had to help the younger kids in school, Dad went to a one room school house

you young'un you Tim. I went to a one room school...1st - 6th grade. And you comparing me to your dad...telling me I'm old or something? The advantage to those one room schools was that you had seen what was coming next year so you were somewhat familar with it so could learn it easier

I went to a 4 room school, it had 8 grades.. I went there 3-8th grades...we had a lot of fun...maybe 10-12 kids in a grade...

lol...there were 36 kids in my 1st grade class...total of 120 or so in the whole school...and we had to share a desk with a 6th grader in 1st grade
