they didn't just want to be like him in the loving, caring, and all those kind of attributes....... they wanted to be like him in being able to create or destroy anything and everything with a blink of an eye. sorry Cowboy....but remember Adam and Eve lacked the knowledge of good and evil ...so how would they know about destroying stuff in the blink of an eye....point out the passage in the bible that tells of Adam and Eve witnessing God doing this |

doesn't matter if they KNEW they were in the wrong. that's the problem...how would they know the concept of what right and wrong were....they lacked that knowledge....if they had that knowledge of what disobedience were...perhaps they wouldn't have disobeyed |

In life there is no need for more knowledge then that. right I agree...Adam and Eve didn't have anymore knowledge than what the animals in the garden had exactly, that's ALL we NEED. We do NOT need anymore knowledge then that. mine did, if they told me not to do something,, even if they did it(because I was not an ADULT ),, it was disrespectful to do it anyway. as far as wanting to be like God,, I wonder why that became the prevalant thought instead of wanting to PLEASE God.... so MsHarmony... as a child until you became an adult you did everything your parents told you to do without question I know i didn't, and was punished just as our holy father will punish us for disobeying. the holy father kicked Adam and Eve out of the garden....did your parents kick you out of the house |
