it cost me $500 but i finally got a digital 8 track recorder that i can record the songs i wrote on and burn them to a disc...8 track is so i can play my guitar,sing,do backing vocals,chorus,set a drum beat have my friend do lead...

My one buddy`s son does the same thing. He plays guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, & drums. He says that his Dad and I are his two biggest influences on music. In fact my buddy`s son is the one who gave me the nickname of rara when he was 2 years old. He will be 40 this year. |

I prefer a 4 track ADAT, I think people who lay track over track, over track have taken the talent out of music. If you don't sound good live, there's no point in over producing a record... but with Protools and Acidpro and all kinds of programs like that... the old ADAT's are becoming obsolete.
