music of choice -- i really enjoyed playing the flute in music class in middle school.. up until the time i had to perform in front the class, got a spontaneous boner, and for the rest of the school year was teased....hand gesturing with mouth.....that sort of ended my music career

It doesn't help that my sister is one of those people who can pick up ANYTHING and play it. I also lose interest really quickly. |

I'm an active composer/multi-instrumentalist. My work can be heard at matveimediaarts.blogspot.com My current projects include my arrangement of Paganini's Moto Perpetuo and my own Bass concerto no. 2.

Had 2 friends, one as good as the other. The gifted one didn't realize it, the one who worked at it appreciated what they learned by studying. Sisters can give is the run for our money, eh? |

A LONG time ago, I could play the banjo. Blue Grass and all that, stuff people have no idea. Was real good..at the time other things happened and life went on. What happended to your music of choice? But it showed folks making music from any and everything imaginable and THAT was very cool, then as well as now,,and I have heard so many peoples music NOW,,that has incorporated SOME of that thought as how their selections of intruments used to get that effect or sounds. SO with all that said,,lol..I have MADE music,,in MANY different forms,,as to call it music,,,as a clock ticks in the back ground as you slowly add MORE,,a tap on a glass half full,,open and close a door in its forth beat,,now add a empty glass with a marble in its bottom as you swirl it around in its bottom...now add in a magnified sounds of a tape being ejected,,over and over at still a later time seperation,, then play it all back,,,,COOL.... I was self taught piano,,and organ,,,,a little drums,,,and harmonica. |

I was in a number of bands back in the old days. Played guitar, bass, and keyboards. I still have some of the stuff somewhere, including an old Sequential Circuits Pro-One synthesizer from before everything was pre-sets. It's got oscillators and filters and a white noise generator and everything. But the sequencer is totally analog so it's sort of limited as to setting it up to play itself.
