im not real versed in this area and need some advise.
1) how do you tell a cam that is better then another, by the pixel? 2)will a better cam then i have now produce a better picture on another pc? i currently a build in cam i kwow no specs on. any advise would be appreciated. thanks in advance |

Hi don306, what version of Windows are you running, or are you using a Mac?
As for your questions on the whole the greater the cameras resolution, the clearer and sharper the picture is but that can vary depending on your lighting ie. if it's too bright or too dark |

i use it in the house with low light/medium light im running vista premium what numbers are greater or smaller If you go into your START bar at the bottom with the Windows logo on it and go into the SEARCH box, type in SYSTEM INFORMATION and it will bring up a program for you. Click on it and it will tell you what the make and model of your camera is. If you make a note and write it here, we can go from there. As for numbers wise a 1.3 megapixel camera is your basic quality, as to say a 3.1 megapixel camera which will have greater clarity etc. |
