When I'm down and afraid
And there's dues to be paid
I pay them but there's more due
In time I'll pay them too.

No road gonna make me trip
Cracks in the walkway I'll skip
I'll walk the mile and more
Same as I've done before.

If and when I speak my mind
I already know I'm gonna be fined
There's silence on the wire
I'll still call and inquire
I'll call, write, I don't care
I've got my mistakes to repair.

I've had good love, I know
It's all too good to let go
I'll hold my proud eyes steady
And let it go when I'm ready.

When there's nothing else to say
It's time to travel my way
Spring's the best time of the season
To renew one's sense of reason
Can't erase mistakes of the past
But mistakes are what makes matters last.

what matters most
is that all is gone and fear is no more
as i walk the grounds and see harmony
and learn what mistakes we have done in the
past and go forward from there
but yet one cant erase the past but can forgive
others in some form of sense
being silent is just being a deep thinker
as i walk the miles with the music of the drums
i saw my thoughts so deep within. looking at the fire
and seeing each indian dance up a storm and sharing
easter wiith them, as like sharing thanksgiving
so to speak
