I got an e-mail telling me that, if i think i'm their type to e-mail them back. This person has hardly any detail about them on their profile. Ha ha. I won't know then. As Cheryl Cole said, a guy could have the best six pack in the world but that wouldn't make me fall for him.

Also they have no profile photo, so....maybe it's a scam.

I always figure if the profile is empty or vapid or full of cliches or every other word is misspelled, there's no sense wasting my time.
And that pretty much takes care of all of them! |

Gawd, I love that word "vapid." Say it again Lex, say it again, but put some deep throated sexiness in your voice when you say it. "VVVVaaapppidd." |

The only problem is, I can't say it without also using the word "profile." Some sort of mental block, I suppose....!! |

Here's another cool word:
"Hubris" hu·bris /ˈhyubrɪs, ˈhu-/ Show Spelled[hyoo-bris, hoo-] –noun excessive pride or self-confidence; arrogance. I love using that word in a sentence. Hear it uttered frequently on the news, usually having to do with politics. |

Lol Thanks for the input, everyone. I just get suspicious easily. I don't trust easily until i get to know the person. Thanks. Gonna log out now. Bye ;) x

I have found that, when someone doesn't put any useful information in the profile, there's generally a reason. Not always the SAME reason -- but always A reason. And all of the reasons are red flags. For me, anyway. It's like when I get nudges or IMs from someone I've never heard from before -- that's pretty much always a bad situation waiting to happen. |

I keep getting IM requests from someone on here named "peaches." I say shoo, fly! Shoo! About 2 hours this person kept trying to IM me. I never answered, but damn, it was annoying. |

Just recently, I've been getting a few unsolicited IMs from scammers. It's funny because they always say exactly the same things in the IMs. Of course, I report them to Admin as soon as my suspicions are confirmed, and the accounts are quickly nuked. I've been doing this long enough that I can generally spot a scammer simply from the pic or the user name. They're really very predictable! |

What the hell??
I have been here for two years and I have gotten exactly ONE IM...lmao I don't even get the scammers. |

I get tired of the emails/ims from people who have fairly blank profiles. It wouldn't be so bad if they could actually have an interesting conversation, but I'm lucky if they can spell out full words.

I can spell...sometimes.
Depends on how stupid my fingers are being at any given time. LOL |

But, if I put in my profile that I'm a lunatic nobody will email me!!! You really don't think they know do ya? |
