opposites attract but they don't last. My exhusband believed in trying to control me and i don't believe in controlling anyone.He believed in using me for a punching bag.I don't believe in hitting.He believed in putting me down every chance he could.I don't put ppl down.Needless to say it didn't work. So much happier now. Glad you got out of that Silly. Big Hugs and a congratulations on moving forward! Thank u DaveyB,I have a great guy in my life now.

I've always been attracted to the opposites. Figure it's time to find someone who has common interest now. I'm not getting any younger ya know? I know of one interest we have in common Shhh, don't tell everybody!! Oh I promise, not a word!

Opposites DO attract ... they don't LAST ... SIMILARITIES last ... I believe they can last. Not complete opposites of course but people who are dissimilar in many ways can and have made it work. My mother and step-father are definitely good examples. I've also known couples who you'd have thought were made for each other they were so much alike. They did not last, they both got bored. Made really excellent friends though.

do you guys believe in this why or why not? i used to think its crap i never believed in it till i met this one girl on here two totallly difrrent lifestyles she partyed alot i stayed away from that stuff she had done drugs i hate drugs just diffrent stuff like that. its the way that you love me,you cold hearted snake

It's only positive for magnets or is that negative? Crap, I can't ever remember. I think their is a thrill to being with someone not at all like you but after a while it wears off. Kinda like new car smell.

Sometimes opposites and alikes can change their minds. So I would be careful. Case in point: My boarder had left these glasses unwashed. She told me that she was glad that I washed them because she was fixing to throw them out. Before it was don't worry about the dishes that she would do them. Be aware of subtle hints because they can go right over your head without you being aware of them.
