Why only " thou shall not covet thy neighbors wife" why not also "thou shall not covet thy neighbors husband"....Is it because men are basically naughty while women are basically innocent?

"Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ***, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour's."

That is because men are basically the leaders. And are suppose to lead a godly life be an example of how to live. It goes God, Jesus, Man, Woman, Child. It's set up this way because if Jesus does what God says to do and man does what Jesus says to do, the woman does what the man says to do and the child does as the woman says to do. If this is done, then the woman and child would be doing as God says to do. The bible tells the man to charish his woman and treat her as himself, because when two are married they become as one. So even on that note, when two are married them being one, when the bible tells man to not do something would also be tell the woman cause they are one.

the original texts didn't specify wife or husband but read the equiv. to spouse. It was changed with the KJV just like they changed just about the whole doctrine to fit their agenda...(they being catholics)
