not many girls on here close to me :/ I thought that (no men near Syracuse)when I first joined, but I have met so many great people here-men and women-and have already had great experiences with everyone on the forums. It almost makes you forget (not completely of course!) that you may be here to actually meet someone special. Give it time like others have said. And as far as distance goes, the success stories I have heard on here have sometimes involved some distance-if you really want it you will work hard at it. You may meet someone who knocks your socks off and relocate-who knows??? Good luck to you!
Wow, the 'Cuse, eh? I used to live there from '83 to '90. Had some fun times in the 6 1/2 years I lived there. My brother is the last of my family to leave SYR. He's moved to Tallahassee, FL this month. It was a fun ride while it lasted but we're all spread out now, from Cali to Florida. See, everyone leaves. I don't blame you, the snow sucks azzz. I'm out of here hopefully sometime in the next year-who knows, I may relocate for a Mingle romance....The 'cuse plays in NCAA tmrw.
lol about people bailing out in SYR. My whole family did, and the snow was a big part of it, and then the jobs thing. I'll have to catch that Orange game on Friday like you said. I used to always follow both SU football and basketball. We got Carmelo Anthony on the Nuggets from there back in 2003, what a great season that was. This one will be too. It's hard to move sometimes especially when you've spent a big chunk of change in your life living there. But if SYR is getting to you enough, you'll find a way.
