Topic: To Deactivate...or not to Deactivate. That is the question..

If I want to quit for a couple months, can I deactivate for now and reactivate when I'm ready later so I don't have to get a new account or remake my profile? ...or is there some other setting that allows me to do that? My life's too hectic now and I need a break. Thanks.

Yes...this is one of the reasons we have deactivating vs deleting. You can come back at any time and just reactivate the profile. While deactivated, no one will be able to contact you through the site. Hope this helps a bit. I wish the best of luck to you in your life. Kim

if you deactivate you can come back whenever you like. no probs you cant get it wrong so just deactivate from the settings section in your account

But what if you WANT your profile completely deleted from the system? I am the kind of person who prefers complete closure over leaving things open-ended. I just want to stick with one site now and do not plan on ever returning here. It would bug me to know that my profile is still here, even though I know it's inactive...

Try deleting all your info & pics before deactivating. All that would be left would be your username.
