you cnt blame the guy maybe 98%of the middle age women he dated are like that however i think he was exaggerating abit .........there are some nice middle age women out there waiting to be discovered or not I am not blaming Tex, I think he starts threads like this just to get our juices flowing. 
He would be disappointed if we weren't honest.

OP, my respect for you just plummeted when reading your thread. When I was 18 to 21, the oldest guy I dated was 10 years older than me, and at the time, that was OLD to me. I looked at your profile with the pics and couldn't figure out if any of them were your daughter, grandaughters or girlfriends.People probally do that when you're out with them also, but more than likely think it's a relative. I noticed also that there were alot of them. Someday..you'll miss the intelligence and experience of people your age. We all have to let go of our youth at some point, it was grand, alot of laughs and many life experiences yet life is better now with the inner growth that comes with aging with maturity. I could care less what your thoughts are about us 'older women' but you're missing out on alot of things that you'll never experience unless you recognize who you are and what your age is bringing you.. Tell me what it is a "mature" woman can do that a 19 year old can't. Just one thing. I know exactly who and what I am. That's the reason I can date these young women. I am a MAN. I don't put up with their BS or the BS more mature women carry around. If their last man cheated on them it has NOTHING to do with me. I do what I say. My word is an iron clad bond. You can take it to the bank. I don't screw around about anything. But, that doesn't mean I'm not a hell of a good time to go out on the town with on a Saturday night. I'll kick up my heels with the best of them. Get in my bed... ain't no 19 y/o can do that! |

I can't tell you how many times I've been on a first date with a woman over about 32 where she was asking me about my future plans on getting married before the food even arrived. What? I just met you. Don't you think we should get to know each other a little before we talk about that? So much baggage, so much bullheadedness, so much bad attitude. They blame every problem in their lives on some man or on men in general. And seem to be looking for another man to solve them. I'm sick of it. I never get that kind of BS from women in their late teens and early 20s. The young ones look better, are more fun and don't give me nearly as much grief. They don't nag or complain and they aren't looking for a man to replace the one that left them. Sure, there are a few maturity issues, but it's not nearly as bad as the crap I've dealt with from more mature women. In other words, it's worth the effort because the rewards are better. Hey I will be 46 in a couple of weeks and Im no where NEAR middle aged. Its a state of mind...
And yes there are some women who carry alot of baggage and blame... I limit my baggage to one small carry on-LOL. I think women get programmed, and they get scared that life will pass them by without their perfect match. For me I got so stiffled up in shoving down all the parts of me that came natural because someone told me this or someone said that...eventually I forgot who I was buried under all that "up tightness". My heart was so walled up and I couldnt figure out why no one was hanging around. Then I remembered what fun I used to be. How I used to never let people tell me what to do or who to be- I made my own choices and lived with them. It wasnt until I decided to live my life everyday without limits- without expectations, to just take each day and run with it...that I met the most wonderful person I have ever known. I made the decision to do the OPPOSITE of what I would normally do and poof- there he was. Dating younger does have its advantages-but they are fleeting most of the time. Give me wisdom, patience and experience any day!! |
