Can anyone tell me the positive and negatives of this site?

What do you love about it?

There can be Drama, but like any Family we get over it.

I just got off this one dating site because of stalkers, and other users

This is the best site out there, great friends here!

I've been on 43,119 of these sites, and this is the best one.

Why? Because it has the best people -- real people who interact with
each other. The forums are a great way to get to know people, because,
unlike a static profile which may sit, unchanged, for months or years on
end, the forums are constantly changing, new questions being asked, new
problems arising for people who need advice or just a place to vent, new
jokes and poems.

It's not quite "real-time," but it's close.

For a lot of us, JSH is like a second home, and the people here become a
kind of extended family.

What I like is that you have the option to be serious, or silly, or
creative, or just sit back and read if you don't feel like posting
anything. There's always someone to talk to if you feel like talking.

The guys who run the site are friendly and approachable, and they
respond to questions and problems quickly and efficiently. This isn't
one of those sites where the admins are invisible robots in an ivory
tower who you can never talk to.

The downside -- like any site, we do occasionally see a troll. JSH has a
good reporting/blocking system in place, so trolls are usually dealt
with in short order.

There is the occasional bit of drama, yes. Again, like any site, there
will be a certain number of "attention whores" -- but, in my experience,
there are actually fewer here than anywhere else. (I make it out to be
8 right now.)

But most of the people here are decent and caring and a lot of fun. I
think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Wow! That's a relief! I've been on sites like that. There are some sites
where people can give you death threats are send you hate messages and
the administrator won't do anything. But simply say "oh well ignore it"

I noticed you said there's about 8 "attention whores"
That's hilarious! Does that mean people live for attention on this site?

Dancer -- Yeah, I've been on some sites where trying to get an answer to
a question required an Act of Congress and some sort of intervention
from the Pope (I think that flirtbox site is actually being run by a
duck). Not here though. Mike and Vanchau are always willing to listen
to the members here, and are always looking for ways to make the site
better.

As for the "attention whore" thing, well, give it a few days, look
around, and you'll see what I'm talking about....



....not that there's anything wrong with that!! Just that there is a
certain level of "Me! Me! Me! Everybody look at me!" neediness that
makes me laugh and shake my head at the same time....I don't think
there's any malice or harmful thought behind what they do, I don't think
they're bad people, per se; they just never got to the stage where they
realized that they aren't the center of the universe....

Eagle, you have to look really really hard, but yeah, they have some
obscure ones like adultllamafinder.com, but they're out there.

Negatives: Have to share my chocolates and Lex refuses to let me pet his
