I do about 3 sets of these(taking a 1min break right after im done with one whole set)But just after i finished my 3rd set i just dropped to my knees and my hearing started to go away, then everything just started to go dark,i tried to get myself up, but my body just wouldnt move.Next thing i knew my brother was just pulling into the driveway.Im happy with my results but it just sucks that i just shut down like that, anyways has there ever been a time when you just pushed yourself beyond your own limits, like your mind or body was just screaming at you to stop?

There could be many reasons for this, but why aren't you monitoring your heart rate? Make sure your not dehydrated too...

I make sure i hydrate after i do every workout,I just didnt allow my body to tell me what to do,I was hurting but i didnt let that bother me.Also I never had a heart rate monitor, cause for some reason i can just feel when its too much.

Wow, thats not good at all man. You should get this checked out. Just a normal check up with your family doctor, to make sure everything is right. I have passed out and started to see black, lose hearing, etc, during workouts often. Not as often anymore though.

When you can see straightor hear straight anymore thats your body telling you that its too much. If this happens often you wont get gains, you will actually start to lose your gains. Whats your weekly workout looklike. What kind of split you doing?

I know for a fact that there isnt anything wrong with me, I`ve just went way beyond my limit, once in a while i give myself a small break between each workout that i do, but today i didnt give myself a break, I just wanted to see how far I could go till I couldnt go anymore.I guess that was my body`s way of telling me to stop...

"...anyways has there ever been a time when you just pushed yourself
beyond your own limits, like your mind or body was just screaming at
you to stop?"

I work out at the gym 5-7 days a week.
Early on, I too fainted.
Turns out I hyper-ventilated into it.
You know how you are always exhaling on
the exertion part, apparently it can be overdone.
Now I watch that closely.
Dehydration can be another culprit.

You should be doing this before you workout, but not right before.

I never had a heart rate monitor, cause for some reason i can just feel when its too much.

Apparently not, or you wouldn't have fainted :wink: Fainting usually happens for one of 3 reasons (assuming you're not on any meds);

1) When your brain does not get enough oxygen.

2) A drop in your blood sugar.

3) A sudden drop in your blood pressure.

If this is the first time that you've fainted then you probably don't need to see a doctor (assuming you're in good health otherwise). See your doctor if your fainting is associated with any of these symptoms or conditions:

• Irregular heart beat
• Chest pain
• Pregnancy
• Shortness of breath
• Sudden onset (no warning signs)
• Blurred vision
• Confusion
• Trouble talking
• Taking longer than a few seconds to regain consciousness
• Fainting when you turn your head to the side
• Fainting more than once in a month

luckily I dont have any of those symptoms.

In that case I wouldn't worry about it UNLESS it happens again. Glad you're taking your workouts seriously

Actually have done that in the past when it hit it would just hit normally when I had been doing a bunch that day. Went to the doctor for I felt fine prior and would later as well. Found out my blood pressure went down as well as my iron count had. Due to both being low that is what caused me to faint and put me on iron tablets. All is good...

Relax people...its just lack of oxygen to the brain from him over working himself. Not that its good for you, but it happens. Just remeber to breathe. I wouldnt suggest you trying to break your records any time soon though. Got to build up to it, lol.
