you can come up with a story Help me come up with a good one cause I'm racking my brain & so far haven't got one yet. Think I'm caught red handed. Probably won't be able to use the company car anymore u should quit this site and just go to hollywood and become and actor How about the truth? Lying to your boss isn't going to make either one of you feel good, he'll know and so will you. Be honest, tell him that you screwed up and it won't happen again. And mean it. I wasn't anywhere near the pumps To be REAL here, I can show ya how I can put a cig out in a open can of filled gas,,,I have done that many times to show people it won't exnite.... its the fumes that make it blow not the gas,,,the movie The Birds? Where the man throws his lit cig down and the raw gas hits it and blows,,,,NOPE,,,false-hood as IT would have just been put out by that running gas,,,but it stays in our minds as TRUTH IF YA NEVER WAS A stupid kid as I was,,,lol I did say fumes bro.or vapors whichever U prefer.Please don't tell me that U dropped an M80 in a school toilet.U did huh? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCh31dGzO9c

I agree, just admit you lost your temper. People have more respect for you when you tell the truth. I called him just now and did tell him the truth. Thing is, this guy HATES smoking! Basically what it boils down to is that I need to quit which is something I've wanted to do anyway. I'm going to make a doctors appointment and try the patch or gum since cold turkey hasn't worked for me. He wasn't really upset about me pissing the guy off, since he knows I normally keep my cool and this was out of character.

Tell him you were standing outside the car smoking and that the guy thought you were too close to the gas station. Your word against his. I'd buy that one!!

Out of all honesty I would have been more pissed off that you were smoking in my vehicle. Yeah I'm one of those that use to smoke and quit and I be damn if anyone will smoke in my car or house now..... As far as what happened at the time I would much rather hear the truth the whole story then I would a lie. Which in fact I hate more then smoking in my vehicle......
