you need to go into the bios and select the newer bigger hdd in the list then save and exit bios . Best thing I can say . If you'd like to troubleshoot just unplug the old hdd and see if it boots from the new one

does it show anything after healty like logical , boot , page file , active ?
if it doesn't the best thing is to go to the manufactures website and get their disk management utility . If just data was transfered through windows then not all files were copied because certain ones were in use . |
