Pissrael's been doing this for decades. This time however they'll probably be caught. Al Jazeera's also reporting two of them are Palestinian affiliated with Fatah which are filled with Israeli sympathisers.

This is why I am not concerned about Iran building its own nuclear weapons. When our 'carrot or stick' approach to diplomatically resolving the situation fails, Israel will simply destroy the facilities.

Another article describes an 11 person team with ties to a Palestinian
faction and 4 different countries passports:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2010/feb/17/mabhouh-murder-script-killers

Al-Mahmoud was an arms dealer in a world where deals gone
bad sometimes have lethal consequences and he had many enemies
certainly including the Israelis. He has been responsible for
the deaths of many innocent people.

Good riddance to a very nasty character.

"Al-Mabhouh was said to have been shocked with an electric weapon held to his legs and then suffocated or poisoned.

Iran and Hamas have blamed Israel for the killing, but Israeli news media claimed al-Mabhouh had many enemies and could have been killed by other Arab factions."

Israeli media, hmm, what an "unbiased and credible" news source they are. Making stuff up again. At least they should put a little more effort into building their house of cards. So let me see if I have this right. After 21 years of hiding from Israel commandos, they finally managed to get their man in Dubai, and they don't bring him to justice in front of a magistrate, they just torture him and kill him? Is that about right?

In 1997, two Mossad agents were caught in Jordan, which had signed a peace treaty with Israel, on a mission to assassinate Sheikh Khaled Mashal, a leader of Hamas, by spraying him with poison at a pro-Hamas rally in Amman. Again, they were using fake Canadian passports. This led to a diplomatic row with Canada and Jordan. Israel was forced to provide the antidote to the poison and to release around 70 Palestinian prisoners, in particular the Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, in exchange for the Mossad agents, who would otherwise have faced the death penalty for attempted murder.

Now that's an interesting story, seems the Mossad are a real class act when it comes to asassination, thuggery, and bombing. Mossad are some pretty bad dudes.

"Possibly the assassination of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, a senior Hamas military commander. A team allegedly consisting of 11 agents, travelling on fake passports, entered al-Mabhouh's hotel room. Mabhouh was allegedly electrocuted and interrogated for information, and then his veins were injected with poison, then the door to his room locked from the outside. Burns were found under his ears, on his legs, in his groin and on his chest. Whether or not this hit squad was affiliated with Mossad remains unknown. Dubai police investigators implicate Israeli involvement."

Dubai police are correct, this has Mossad's signature written all over it. Their subterfuge is getting more transparent.

I didn't read the article you posted, but I read today on the Jordan Times site, that 2 Palestinians were arrested in Jordan and sent to Dubai. They apparently are linked to the Palestinian Authority..

I hunted down the article you mentioned and here it is:

http://www.jordantimes.com/?news=24099

"On Monday, Hamas official Ayman Taha told Al Arabiya television that the pair worked for the PA and took part in Mabhuh’s assassination."

"Two Palestinians were arrested in Jordan and were handed over to Dubai, suspected of giving logistical assistance. One of the Palestinian detainees is a security official in the Fatah-controlled Palestinian Authority. Hamas has claimed that their arrest is evidence linking the Palestinian Authority to the assassination, while the Palestinian Authority has retorted by accusing the arrested Palestinians of being members of Hamas.

They have yet to rule out the involvement of the Mossad or any other potential party. The police have also concluded that the killers spent little time in the emirate, arriving less than a day before the murder, killing him between his arrival at 3:15 p.m. and 9 p.m. that night, and subsequently leaving the country before his discovery. Dubai authorities have said a "professional criminal gang" with European passports was likely behind the killing.

A Jerusalem-based British citizen named Melvyn Adam Mildiner told Reuters news agency that he has never been to Dubai and had no connection with the Mossad or the assassination. He said that he did not "know how this happened or who chose my name or why." In addition to Mildiner, three other Israelis with the names Paul Keeley, Stephen Daniel Hodes and Michael Bodenheimer reported to the Israeli Channel 2 news that they did not understand the coincidence, and were not related at all to the suspects. In the wake of the revelation that passports of British citizens had figured prominently in the operation, the United Kingdom's Serious Organised Crime Agency launched its own investigation into the matter. The British Foreign Office also summoned the Israeli ambassador on February 18 to share information on the matter."

At least Dubai officials are being somewhat objective about all of this.

They let 12 assassins using fake passports into their country.. I am thinking they are feeling rather foolish, unless...

"On 2 February, the Iranian foreign ministry blamed Israel for the incident, stating, "This is another indication of the existence of state terrorism by the Zionist regime".

The Israeli government initially did not comment on claims that it was involved in Mabhouh's death. On February 17, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman stated:

I don't know why we are assuming that Israel, or the Mossad, used those passports...There is no reason to think that it was the Israeli Mossad, and not some other intelligence service or country up to some mischief...Israel never responds, never confirms and never denies...There is no reason for Israel to change this policy."

LMAO @ Avigdor Lieberman. rofl rofl rofl

Only a matter of time, you may as well own up to it now. I imagine the UAE is awfully ticked off right now with the likely possibility of Mossad agents infiltrating their sovereign nation and committing yet another heinous act. Pile another one on the Mossad's rap sheet.

This guy spent his time smuggling weapons for the express purpose
of maiming or killing innocent civilians. His success meant women
and children dismembered, disfigured, destroyed. Terrorism and
war criminals are never heroic. Perhaps his dog and Mom loved him.
But his life and what he represented was reprehensible and disgusts
any reasonable person.

sick

Hamas and Hezbollah were among the groups who danced, threw candy
and cheered at the killings of thousands on 9/11.

Despicable. He will not be mourned around here.

markumX, could there be a possibility that this was Fatah's handiwork, or are you convinced as I am that it was Mossad? I am still curious how these ghosts got away. Where's the paper-trail? Where did they fly to? Is there no record? How were these fake passports not spotted sooner? It is a mystery, and it isn't. I'm pretty sure it was Israel's Mossad, but where are they, who are they, and how in the heck did they pull this off?

whether mossad did this or not, it has exposed a serious rift between the different groups that make up the Palestinian power structure.. it's spilling over into other refugee camps..

From the Jordan Times.. http://www.jordantimes.com/?news=24093&searchFor=shooting%20in%20pali%20refugee%20camp

SIDON, Lebanon (AFP) - The situation was calm on Tuesday at a Palestinian refugee camp in southern Lebanon following clashes between rival factions that left a woman dead, officials said.

"Everything is back to normal today and the residents who had fled the fighting are back," Munir Maqdah, who is in charge of security at the Ain Al Hilweh Camp near the coastal city of Sidon, told AFP.

The clashes broke out on Monday after members of the small Islamist movement Usbat Al Ansar fired at a member of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' mainstream Fateh faction.

An army spokesman reported that the Fateh member had been killed but Maqdah and hospital officials said on Tuesday that he had been wounded.

The woman who was killed was caught in the crossfire. Five other people were also wounded, Maqdah said.

By longstanding convention, the Lebanese army does not enter the camps, leaving security inside in the hands of Palestinians.

Ain Al Hilweh, the largest of Lebanon's 12 Palestinian camps, is home to about 50,000 refugees and is known to harbour extremists and fugitives.

Well well well! Check this out!:

"The Dubai police chief said Thursday that it is "99-percent" certain that Mossad, the secretive Israeli intelligence unit, is behind al-Mabhouh's killing.

"Our investigations reveal that Mossad is involved in the murder of al-Mabhouh. It is 99 percent, if not 100 percent that Mossad is standing behind the murder," Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim told The National newspaper, an English-language daily owned by the ruling family of Abu Dhabi.

Dubai police have evidence that shows a clear link behind the suspects and people closely connected to Israel, Tamim told the paper, but he did not say what the evidence is.

Hamas has called al-Mabhouh's death an assassination. His family members told CNN they believed Mossad was involved."

"Dubai police chief Dahi Khalfan said in a statement Monday that "The United Arab Emirates does not accept the notion that its land can be used as a battlefield for settling scores no matter what the causes or affiliations of these involved perpetrators can be."

He warned that anyone who tries to "tamper with the country's security or the safety of any resident or visitor of its community will be subject to prosecution and accountability."

It's Mossad. I know it, UAE knows it, Israel is lying about it like they know nothing about it. Serious consequences will result from this heinous act.

Oh there is a good chance it was Mossad especially since the Israelis neither confirm or deny it - at least they are not denying it.

On the other hand, there is a fair chance it was one of any one of a number of his other enemies.

As Bill Clinton, George Bush and Barak Obama have all said.

"There will be no refuge for terrorists or terrorism."
