Yes, there are plenty of good reasons to lie. I usually decide it's okay to lie to someone if what they are asking me is really none of their business anyway or if the truth will unnecessarily hurt their feelings. I will tell my girlfriend that she looks like a beached whale in that belly shirt, but I won't laugh at the earrings she absolutely loves just cause they're not really my style. It's a fine line, I know.

To be very REAL here,,,the ONLY lie that I would say or see as one for the RIGHT REASONS.....
A young child asking questions about things their to young to understand.. A promise you made to another for which THEY wanted to be the one to say that truth. IF it is something that YOU FEEL or KNOW that MIGHT hurt someone's feelings,,,then small sugar coating the truth is better that their hurt for the perfect truth... THATS about all I have,,,,,,,
