...no cheating. (using google or any other internet search)
Just off the top of your head. 1. In consecutive years, the Academy Award for Best Picture was won by a rated G movie, then a rated X movie. Name the two movies. I'll post the answer later today, if nobody gets it. |

Midnight Cowboy (Rated X) won an Oscar. I don't know the Rated G one. I will assume it's something Disney though. How about Cinderella.
On a side, Clockwork Orange was also Rated X but didn't win. |

Yes. I believe both Midnight Cowboy and Clockwork Orange have since been downgraded to an "R" rating. Or at least they should be. The other is NOT a Disney movie. |

I had to look up the G-rated movie. Makes sense now. I guess I assumed it was a cartoon. |

I read the book "Midnight Cowboy" long before I saw the movie. A very adult story, although I think the X rating was a bit much even in it's time. Does anyone remember when movies were rated "M" for Mature audiences?

I remember the re-runs when Lucy and Ricky slept in separate twin beds.
We certainly have evolved haven't we... |

Well, both of the movies have been listed on here but not in the same answer....
Lewis, you told us about "Oliver!" in 1968, but XenomorphEyez gave us the other answer for 1969 "Midnight Cowboy". lol So nobody actually got this right.. |
