Tell them straight up, and tell them often.

I never told my girls life sucks

I think that would kill that wonderful childhood buzz they have

they will learn by themselves what sucks to them. It's diff for everyone

what sucked for me just might not suck for them

just always be there to guide them through their sucky moments!

(think I used the word suck enough. Lol )

Life Never sucks though because honestly every thing happens for a reason. And if something is so draining or over welming in ones life then that probably means you should nt be trying to do that certain thing or its not for you.The If a kids understands that God has the plan and we just need to figure out what we need to be . For him . How does Jesus want to use us We are all hear for purpose to help some one or something. So once we can understand that we have something that some one else needs we can be used But if we are ungratefull, lazy, quick to anger, self centered l or have an attitude we are already messing up the plan because that attitude helps no one.And then i guess u can say the s word but once u decide u will learn to be

I like shineys answer. I taught mine since they learned to communicate that 'it isnt ALWAYS about what you want'. For too many adults(not necessarily the OP) anything that impedes what they WANT to do or have in life means life sucks. Life is a blessing but we dont always get what we want and sometimes we must really struggle for what we need. Whether life sucks or not is up to us and our inner attitude, of which I try to teach my kids to have a grateful heart for whatever blessings they might have.
