Off this iccy road of hell. Into my sleeper bidding it my farewell.
See the fear in passing eyes, watching them become paralyzed.
White-line fever, driving while asleep, hits ya like a clever.
Dreaded roads of ice packed snow, slide and wreck, then ya know.
Bow your head, then your dead. nothing more to ever dread.
Seeing bodies tossed and killed, semi's laying in snow covered fields
Black ice slicks, tires lose their grip, Now doing your roll and flip
Like a desert of white sand, blinding, defining,always re-designing.
Winds howling through the cracks of the door, seeping in to explore.
Families stranded at every stop, all the kids drinking their soda pop
Mom and dad looking stressed out and sad, this year's been very bad.
Gas lines frozen, cars on the shoulders by the dozens.
Wrecks at every turn, how I pray for summer's return.
Homeless people their blood frozen from outside in.
Without any heat. Its just a waiting game for old man winter to win
Frigged winds blowing, this constant white snowing.
With so many drivers never knowing, Tomorrow has no showing!

Please, it your ever going for an exit ramp,,and theirs a semi in your path,,DON'T gauge in front of him,,then BREAK HARD to slow down for your ramp,,IT'S NOT WORTH IT,,just tail in behing him for that extra 30 seconds, wink, MUCH SAFER!!!!!!!

Be safe Terry- prayers for patience with those crazy drivers out there- I just drive a regular car and they really *%$# me off.. I can only imagine being in a rig and dealing with their shananigans.

People NOW including my own kids,,,DRIVE with a FAST RACE in mind ,,,EVERYWHERE, and THEIR NOT EVEN REALLY RUSHED TO BE THAT WAY AT ALL,,,ITS their style???????

SOME DIVE for lanes over THROUGH all traffic to make an EXIT RAMP,,,THEY TAKE EVERYDAY? That WHY?
I Have no idea???? Maybe out of being a BORING DRIVE for them???

Jim man,,I lost a niece and her three friends all were killed by a truck driver, HE HIT THEIR CAR SO FAST AND HARD,,He rode
up on top of it and HALF way over it before his truck and their car came to a stop..SHE was 15 years old and her friend were the same age except the driver,,she had just gotten her drivers license and they were out being girlly girls,,,,THAT was about 16 years ago.
I went to all four girls funerals and it contained three high schools where they all attended different ones...a thousand crying teens,,some NEVER facing a death they knew before and now four friends ....tears,,,hugs,,and my own brother and sisterinlaws tears falling forever to this day...
SO on the road since then and before but really since,,every time I see a fatality,,,,I picture ALL THAT,,as I know THAT family will have THAT to go through.....
The trucker SAID the girls pulled out right in front of him?
I went to the seen and told my brother later,,ALL I CAN TELL YOU IS,,if I had been driving that truck,,THEY would still be alive.

There are SKIDS MARKS BEFORE THE FLOW OF THE HIT,,,,in this there was none tail after wards,,and WHEN ya slam your brakes on in a semi,,it pushes your NOSE of your truck way,way down if loaded,,he was loaded,,yet he went UP over the car instead of knocking it OFF or rolling IT OVER,,,He was back to work the next week,I never met him he had an illegal woman passenger with him,and he was driving OVER his hours of duty time...
YET,,no matter,,THEIR ALL GONE, FOREVER...
WE SEMI'S are like FAST MOVING TANKS,,WE WEIGH IF LOADED 80,000 lbs
at 60 mph,,,,we Will GO through A FOUR FOOT WALL OF CONCRETE.
Most cars weigh about 2500 pds...YOU do the math,,,
ITS like swatting a bug....
And now we have unsafe driving schools giving out CDL's to people who they have NOT trained properly,,,and them NEW drivers THINK,,they know how to drive as they were trained to drive WRONG and DON'T even know it!

That was a long time ago and I am fine,,,,sorry to say so much,,,wink,lol,its all good..
