Today was... slow. I guess that's the word for it. I don't care for days like that.

My day was busy and then around 4:30 I just felt dead.. I left early today just before 6, couldn't do it anymore..

I gave up the working till ... whatever hours, a couple years ago. But if things keep picking up I may have to go back to stick around after 3 and 4 oclock

Yup, there's good and bad to that but for now I'm just taking advantage of not having to be at work so long. If next month goes the way I expect I may have to start hiring again... That will be a relief. |

yeah and good for the some out of work.. I like hearing that... We're hiring but not in positions that I can help out anyone I know that lost their jobs...

I hear you on that. A couple of people I even offered a couple days under the table just to help me catch up on some stuff.

Have you ever used "labor ready" I've used their guys before for heavy duty stuff that I'm making my son do at the office right now..

Haven't tried that yet. Until now I could afford anything, but things are looking pretty good this month so I know I should at least be able to afford to pay someone a few days. Honestly I prefer to help out friends when I can, but if none of them want it I may have to look into that.

They sent me guys for like $12 an hour, that wasn't bad for just moving some stuff my assistant couldn't and taking a few things to our storage unit... Too bad you're so far I'd send my son to help...
