...This is a poem for someone I thought who, Was a friend, but then, found out it's not true. Always to busy for a quick "Hello" Never taking the time to go THAT slow... So quick to claim that friends are forever, Yet when the page was turned, I see it was never. Only when convient for him in his mind, And then... only if he could not find Another to fill up the void in his day, Did I hear from you, and this is not ok! What about days when it's I that needs help Then no, you can't reply, our friendships stuck on the shelf. Sitting there waiting so patiently, I'm tired of sitting and waiting for thee. Go about your business, just forget about me Another burst of pain in my heart, I don't need. Good luck in you ventures and all that you seek, Just keep strolling bye, don't stop for a peek. I'm stronger than I thought or I could not say this For you in my heart, there was one little kiss... At least I didn't give you all of my trust At one point it felt that you thought that I must. You cannot go round demanding respect, It doesn't work like that, what the heck! Talking and sharing the things in one's life Usually leads to happiness, not to strife! This is my feeling about you using me Only for company when you need to be, Coddled and pampered and simply told of What a good man you are before me you shoved, Out of your thoughts until you once again Are needing someone, a one sided friend. Good bye now, good luck and please don't befriend Others unless you can be a friend to the end!

Aww.. thank you kindly. Often when things are eating at me, just writing something really helps release those thoughts that I feel so guilty thinking in the first place...
