No, a woman SHOULD not be able to claim insanity for murder..although some symptoms can at times seem as though you are indeed going insane.
It is more severe for some women..it comes down to awareness..as with anything. When you grow to learn and understand your body and the effects , the symptoms, mood swings..all that comes with this very natural function...it becomes easier to seek such remedies as better diet, exercise, meditation, prayer, supplements... Of course with age comes wisdom..hopefully. I have known many women who use this as a reason to be a b!tch... also have know many men who lack the knowledge and are very un understanding and un sympathetic to what the women they say they love is going through. A little knowledge and caring goes along way.... |

PMS and menopause can be extreme in a small percentage of women. Extreme in that they lose control. Normal PMS and menopause though will not do this. Just like after having a baby a small percentage of women experience the "baby blues" so severely they may hurt the baby or themselves or both. These are all extreme cases and cannot account for most women. So if you want to be discriminatory based on this misinformation so be it. I have issues with mentally ill men in power too and you don't always know they are so should I discriminate against all men for the few who suffer these ailments? |
