I wasn't questioning how much you love your family or friends..was just courious about your reasons for being on a online site if you're happy and satisified at home..You're very lucky.

I'd say and it's jmo that many are on here to fill a void in their lives..either they are isolated from their family and friends because of work, school or whatever and are lonely and want to make new friends.

I appreciate the online people I meet. Some I think are funny, some stuck up, but then , there are the ones who have offered friendship. And that friendship has turned out to be real and valuable to me.

I know of no one on this site who would say that they "love' anyone in a 'lets live together forever" kind of love..but there are many on here that actually love their friends and are there for them.

I'm here because my computer works and I have internet connection.

Well I can only speak for myself but honestly I would rather sit across the table from you than type, but thats not possible.
So I guess this is the next best thing.
I first started on here to meet a man, but then after a long time joined the forums. Now talking to my friends has become my priority and meeting someone secondary.
I do love my family very much, my kids are my life. But I have lost most of my sibilings ,so I don't have much in the way of family to draw on any more.

No, I don't have the time or desire to debate with you..I was courious about something and I made it known..asked and answered.

This is the sentence I had in mind when I asked the question.

well I'm totaly honest and most of the time quite blunt

Lex once said to me: "you say what has to be said" and most of the time I do and have just as many people Not like me than do!! Haha

and for me yes ( don't take offense please!) most online people are not really worth knowing. I like to sit and watch the different personalities float across my screen some are so easy to figure. Some so complex

You did take the online sentence wrong. A little to personaly I think but that was your inner feelings it touched and you ran with it I was only voicing my own opinion. Never really thought it would offend another

Well online is a form of entertainment

just another form in this age of technology

sort of like a reality show you would watch on tv

you watch for the entertainment factor

and we all have our own form of entertainent which we enjoy

weather it be

Sports
music
watching people on various sites

I never put down others for what they do or the foRm of entertainment they enjoy

I love this site cause I'm free to be me on it and I can watch others do the same!

I always respect those who's opinions are diff than mine
why in the world would I. There's no reason we are free to debate

alot. Yea. Alot here have opinions who don't click with mine but that's ok
