If your stereo has an aux input you can use an auxillary cable like this one:
http://www.igonemobile.com/product.aspx?p=15347 to link it up. It works for car stereos and home stereos that have the aux input. you can also use an fm transmitter adapter like this one: http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=166893 if your car or home stereo does not have that input. |

connect the headphone jack to an input on your receiver or amplifier. look for the manual for the receiver or amplifier and take it along with your mp3 player to radio shack or a knowledgeable friend and they will help you get the right cable. it is not difficult in most instances.

you are looking for the Cord with jack that plugs into the mp3 player, that has two RCA plugs on other end.
these plug into your stereo, pick a function,ie,vcr/monitor/tape and just plug em in. same one i use..costs less than ten bucks at radio shack. take the mp3 player with you,to ensure correct jack plug. also, you might want to turn down the volume on the mp3 player,as the mp3 player will distort the sound badly if turned up to high. just use the stereo to adjust. finally, the same cord you buy for the mp3 player, can be used to hook up your computer as well for sound. |
