I care about ALL life..these people have sooo much less than we do.
Another human being doesn't have to be an American for me to feel their pain. Matters not where they are....these children who are experiencing enormous suffering are no less precious than my children or yours..

So very well put into wordsflowerforyou
Just because they not English,American,or whatever does not mean i dont feel sad when i see suffering around the world.
Trouble is we live in such a selfish world and the attitude of me me me makes me sick, people should think less of me me me and this world would be a better place to live, the nation of Haiti has my deepest sympathy. Anna x

The world would be a better place if we thought more of others regardless of race, creed, color, or religion.

I pray that that happens in my lifetime.

"Heal The World"
-Michael Jackson

There's A Place In
Your Heart
And I Know That It Is Love
And This Place Could
Be Much
Brighter Than Tomorrow
And If You Really Try
You'll Find There's No Need
To Cry
In This Place You'll Feel
There's No Hurt Or Sorrow

There Are Ways
To Get There
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
Make A Better Place...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

If You Want To Know Why
There's A Love That
Cannot Lie
Love Is Strong
It Only Cares For
Joyful Giving
If We Try
We Shall See
In This Bliss
We Cannot Feel
Fear Or Dread
We Stop Existing And
Start Living

Then It Feels That Always
Love's Enough For
Us Growing
So Make A Better World
Make A Better World...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

And The Dream We Were
Conceived In
Will Reveal A Joyful Face
And The World We
Once Believed In
Will Shine Again In Grace
Then Why Do We Keep
Strangling Life
Wound This Earth
Crucify Its Soul
Though It's Plain To See
This World Is Heavenly
Be God's Glow

We Could Fly So High
Let Our Spirits Never Die
In My Heart
I Feel You Are All
My Brothers
Create A World With
No Fear
Together We'll Cry
Happy Tears
See The Nations Turn
Their Swords
Into Plowshares

We Could Really Get There
If You Cared Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
To Make A Better Place...

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me
You And For Me

Update: 'Hope for Haiti Now' Telethon Sets New Record for Funds Raised

"Hope for Haiti Now" announced that it has raised more than $57 million to date, a new telethon record for donations by the general public. The preliminary figure includes donations made via phone, online, and mobile - what the figure doesn't include are sums donated by corporations and large private donors, or iTunes sales figures, which are still being calculated.

"The public has set a new standard of giving for a relief telethon with 'Hope for Haiti Now,' and the donations continue to come in -- people can still contribute 24/7 via phone, web and text," said Lisa Paulsen, President & CEO of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing philanthropic support to "Hope for Haiti Now."

If you'd like to make a donation, please visit HopeForHaitiNow.org or call (877) 99-HAITI.

Meanwhile, the Hope for Haiti Now album has become the biggest one-day album pre-order in iTunes history -- and is currently the No. 1 iTunes album in 18 countries. The studio version of "Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)," the original charity track performed by Bono, The Edge, Jay-Z, and Rihanna during the global benefit, is currently the No. 1 song on iTunes in 12 countries.

The telethon's musical performances will be available for purchase for $.99 per song in Apple's iTunes Store, with all proceeds benefiting Haiti relief funds managed by "Hope for Haiti Now" charities.
